Parts Person (47808)

In this role you will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and supporting the maintenance team by providing necessary parts in a timely manner.  In this position you must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-faced environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive and stock incoming parts accurately and efficiently.
• Input parts into the inventory management system to ensure accurate tracking.
• Drive to suppliers or other locations to pick up parts as needed.
• Organize, maintain, and clean the parts storage area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Run inventory reports regularly to monitor stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Place orders for parts and supplies as required to meet operational needs.
• Collaborate with mechanics to identify and provide the correct parts for repairs and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Day shift – Monday to Friday
• Hours – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Currently hold and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background checks.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending and reaching.
• Manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools.
• Ability to operate forklifts, and pallet jacks.
• Visual acuity to read part numbers and labels.

COMPENSATION:

          Starting Salary: $19.00 to $22.00 (DOE)

          Full Salary Range Potential: $19.00 to $30.00 (with tenure at Coleman Oil)

401(k) - Full time and part time employees are eligible to enroll in the company 401(k) plan following a predetermined amount of time.  This option comes with a company match of up to 4%.

Days Off – Employees will accrue 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked, one personal day on the 1st of January each year and six paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Other – Employees may be eligible for an annual bonus.
